This year, Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2026 released date is set on Thursday, 19th November 2026
Indeed, Beaujolais Nouveau Day is marked in France on the third Thursday of November with fireworks, music and festivals.
First, under the French law, we can only release the wine from 12:01 a.m. on the 3rd thursday of November. Clearly it means just weeks after harvesting the wine’s grape!
Then, parties are held throughout the country and further afield to celebrate as a yearly tradition the first wine of the season and the end of the harvest.

Tasting Notes Beaujolais Villages Nouveau:
First, an Easy drinking wine, Then, the palate is full, rather generous, with these same fruity notes as traditional Beaujolais (Red fruits, cherry and banana). Overall we have some slight acidity that brings an agreable freshness.
This wine is a unique Wine, made 100% from Gamay. It is the most popular vin de primeur; Which means it is a wine that we can sell in the same harvest year.
The wine maker ferment the wine only few weeks before releasing it for sale on the third Thursday of November.
Should you purchase the wine now, as per French Law, we won’t be able to release it for your consumption before November 19th from 10am.
