First, the 42 Hectares family Estate is located in the Anjou and Saumur Appellations.
The Domaine has been run by Christian Cousin since 1998. However, the history of the domaine dates back to 1890.
The Estate particularity is the clay limestone and schist Terroir which gives the character for each wine even though they come from a single grape variety, Cabernet Franc.
Grape Variety: 100% Chenin Blanc
Tasting Notes:
Robe: Golden Yellow color
Nose: Light and Fresh with aromas of white flowers and white fruits such as Pear.
Palate: A rich ample structure. A voluminous Wine .
Food Pairing: ideal with the local goat cheese such as Petit Sainte-Maure or Selles sur Cher.
It is also a great friend with scallops, fish with some sauce or white meat.
