Perail Papillon is first made from whole sheep’s milk from Aveyron in South West of France.
The soft ripened cheese is mild, buttery and creamy.
Then, you will find noted of sweet grass and a gentle earthy undernote.
Last but not least, the freshness of the Papillon will pair perfectly with a Chardonnay such as a Languedoc Chardonnay that will make wonders. Not to forget condiments such as a cherry chutney to serve together with a walnut bread . A delicious honey with truffles will pair wonderfully well with such a cheese and bring a touch of “sous bois” / forest floor and mushroom flavours notes.
