About Robert Perroud and the vineyard.
The human experience is what motivates and drives Robert Perroud to collaborate with others sharing a mutual passion.
What inspires him more than anything is nature. He likes to feel at one with it. His home is a bioclimatic house surrounded by vineyards and he still use the same cellar as his father and grandfather.
He takes time to observe and protect the environment by developing biodiversity within my vineyards.
In his operation he works with the help of his assistant Frederic in the vines and the cellar. Their work demands so much detail and they both consider making wine an art.
Everything is tailored to the needs of the vines and much effort is put forth by hand in the vineyard, because no great wine can be made without exceptional grapes!
All grapes are handpicked, when fully ripened, by a happy and loyal band of harvesters and transported in small cases of only 50 kg.
His winery is located just meters away from his plots. A very local and sustainable estate indeed !
