First, Clos Berthet Blanc is a Premier Cru climat located in the northern part of Pernand-Vergelesses town ( Cote de Beaune region of Burgundy).
Clos Berthet is a monopole. In other words, It is the entire property of Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine. Located in the continuity of the Sous Frétille facing West, it is considered the gem of Domaine Dubreuil- Fontaine.
Located in the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine, a family owned Domaine for more than 140 years uses the noble grape varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot noir to make up its wide range of 22 appellations : starting from the fruity Bourgogne, to the lively village, from the prestigious Premier cru to the rare Grand Cru. Its vineyards cover the villages of: Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and Savigny Les Beaune, Pommard, Beaune and Volnay.
At last, Christine Dubreuil is a fifth-generation winemaker and owner of this Domaine located in Pernand-Vergelesses. Most importantly, her wines are elegant, charming, and delicious – each wonderfully depicting its vineyard.

Tasting Notes: At first, Pernand Vergelesses 1er Cru Clos Berthet 2018 Monopole has a nice light color. An elegant citrus bouquet with saline hints. Then, In the mouth we find a good tension and minerality, typical of Pernand-Vergelesses appellation. Overall, a nice intensity and a good length in final.
