Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine
Located in the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine, a family owned Domaine for more than 140 years uses the noble grape varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot noir to make up its wide range of 22 appellations : starting from the fruity Bourgogne, to the lively village, from the prestigious Premier cru to the rare Grand Cru. Its vineyards cover the villages of: Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and Savigny Les Beaune, Pommard, Beaune and Volnay.
Christine Dubreuil is a fifth-generation winemaker and owner of this Domaine located in Pernand-Vergelesses. Her wines are elegant, charming, and delicious – each wonderfully depicting its vineyard.
Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay.
Tasting Notes: At first, this wine has a light and pure robe color. Then, a flattering and inviting
fresh nose, slightly floral and with apple blossom. Overall, a well balanced palate with flavours of golden apple, pear, liquorice, and a little minerality. Quite good length in final.
Food Pairing Recommendations: A great companion with grilled salmon, roasted chicken, shellfish, fish, goat cheeses.
