Domaine Albert Brenot
Located in the heart of Burgundy, Albert Brenot produces quality and authentic wines since 1849.
Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay
This village is located south of the Côte de Beaune a few kilometers from the most famous white Burgundy wines (PULIGNY MONTRACHET, CHASSAGNE MONTRACHET).
Only 15 hectares produces MARANGES BLANC and 5 Hectares of MARANGES PREMIER CRU BLANC.
Tasting Notes: At first, this wine has a beautiful yellow gold dress. Then, the nose is subtle and delicate like all the great white wines of the Côte de Beaune with dominant notes of white flowers (hawthorn) complemented by aromas of fruit (Mango, mirabelle plums).
Aging in barrels completes the aromatic palette with slightly toasted notes (Brioche, gingerbread). As a result this wine is complex with a subtle balance between richness, power and mineral and fresh notes on the palate.
Food Pairing recommendations: This great white wine adapts to the most delicate dishes as well as to a richer and more elaborate cuisine. Young, enjoy it with seafood and fish.
After a few years, it will pairs beautifully with dumplings or an extra old Gouda.
Serving Suggestion: 13°C.
Ageing Potential: 5 to 8 years
