Cremant de Savoie sparkling white
Cremant de Savoie is a sparkling wine from Cave de Cruet in Savoie.
Morever, with a high quality and strength of character, the wine expresses all the nobility of their gold color.
Sparkling wine lovers can enjoy Crémant de Savoie , like they will from the 7 other regions such as Alsace and Burgundy.
They hand harvest the grapes. Then, they age the wine for at least 12 months. It expresses finesse with its bubbles and its rare aromatic elegance.
First, the vineyards that belong to the Cave des Vins Fins de Cruet extends from the southern slope of the Bauges mountains over the villages of Saint-Jeoire-Prieuré to Fréterive, passing through Chignin, Francin, Montmélian, Arbin, Cruet, Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte and Saint-Pierre d’Albigny.
Then, the history of the winemaking began in 1939 when winegrowers from three villages in the Combe de Savoie region came together to create the Cave des Vins Fins de Cruet.
The winegrowers harvest each grape variety by hand and separately, at their optimum maturity.
When the harvested grapes are transported to the Cave de Cruet, they undergo rigorous qualitative and quantitative control before being vinified.
More than 80 years after its creation, the Cave des Vins Fins de Cruet is made up of 240 hectares of vines, 70 member producers and 12 employees.
It produces 15,000 hectoliters of wine per year, which is more than 20% of all Savoie wines.
Each year, several of its cuvées are awarded medals at various national and international competitions.
