Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
First, the terroir is mainly Sandy and clayey. Then, the vineyard profits from a very hot climate in summer. It gives the grapes an important ripeness.
Wine makers proceed to a traditional vinification: grapes are crushed, then the juice ferments. The wine is racked in order to refine the wine and provide it with fragrance.
Wine tasting notes: At first, a pale gold hue and exude a range of aromatics. It can vary from fruity notes recalling citrus or tropical fruits. On the nose we observe a bright lime, grapefruit and fresh cut grass fragrance. Then you can also enjoy floral notes reminiscent of white flowers. On the palate you can note a clean minerality, a hint of melon and apricot.
Finally, Sauvignon de Touraine, Les Petits Faiteaux retain a fresh feel on the finish.
