Paradis Secret Languedoc Rosé 2021
The Languedoc, its wild spaces, its intact nature sheltering a thousand essences including the delicate perfume of the emblematic magnolia of the South of France.
Les Vignobles Foncalieu is a union of wine makers in the heart of the Languedoc. Indeed, their vineyard landscape stretches across 4000 hectares.
They are situated between the sea, the mountains and the sun-caressed plains and include such incredible sites such as the medieval fortified Cité de Carcassonne and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. With such diversity, their 650 winegrowers represent a number of different wines and appellations and enable them to unveil the potential of each terroir. Their Paradis Secret is their interpretation of the delicacy of their terroir.
Grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Carignan.
Soils:At first a Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers and autumns, springs and mild winters. Very low rainfall, tramontane (South of France Wind).
Tasting Notes: At first a pale pink colour. Then the aromas of white-fleshed fruits dominate (peach/nectarine) & white blossom. A touch of citrus brings a touch of freshness in the mouth. Tasty and elegant wine. Overall Finesse, roundness, nice balance, freshness.
Food Pairing suggestions: A great friend for Aperitifs, tapas, or with mediterranean cuisine. You can also enjoy it with prawns tempura, avocado salad, scallop carpaccio with citrus fruits..etc
