Château l’Oiselinière has a ten hectares single vineyard situated on a dome facing south.
The “Clos du Château l’Oiselinière” produces the wine. Therefore it follows the qualitative process of “Crus communaux” in MUSCADET.
They select the top quality of their soil to produce a cru. Le Clos will be a Cru from La Haie-Fouassière which is in process of recognition.

Terroir: The 80 years old vines are deeply rooted in the soil of this south facing dome.
Spring 2015 was dry with medium temperatures. Budding was late and permitted to avoid spring frost. Rains early September gave a needed amount of water. Harvest started early September.
Harvest and Ageing on lies: Hand harvested to preserve the aromas of the berries until they are crushed. After fermentation, the wine ages on the lees at least 17 months before bottling. They keep the Bottles at the winery 2 to 5 years before releasing them.
This age Muscadet is made only the best years.
Tasting Notes: First, Le Clos du Chateau de l’Oiseliniere has a gold color and bright. Then we can find a complex and buttery nose. Overall, in mouth, we discover that the wine is intense with passion and citrus fruits and a refined aroma of honey.
Food and Wine pairing recommendations: This high end aged Muscadet pairs beautifully with fish in sauce, white meat, creamy mushrooms and cheeses.
