This wine is the second label of the famous Château Poujeaux in Moulis en Médoc appellation.
This wine is made mainly from fruit grown on young vines that are just beginning to produce. But it also benefits from grapes from selected older vines.
Grape Variety: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot
Tasting Notes: At first, a dark and beautiful red robe. Then, the nose is fine, Elegant and expressive with hints of cassis and cherry. At Last the mouth is full of flesh. Overall the tannins are well structured.
Food Pairing Suggestions: Enjoy this wine with a roasted lamb, braised beef ribs on the BBQ or simply with cold cut and cheese platter.
