Domaine La Voute du Verdus white 2019
The vineyard is located in the towns of Aniane and St. Jean de Fos in the Languedoc region.
The domaine is located in the village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, classified among the most beautiful villages in France. it hosts its imposing Cistercian abbey (Gellone Abbey). It is located 30 km north-west of Montpellier in Languedoc-Roussillon.
It takes part of the famous Santiago de Compostella routes.
Grape Varieties: Colombard and Grenache Blanc.
This vintage is not subjected to fining nor to filtration before bottling. As a result, it allows to maintain all the expression and delicacy of this fragile, delicate wine.
Tasting Notes: At first a silvery pale white appearance and green reflect robe. Then the first nose suggests citrus aromas.
The nose reveals some extremely well balanced notes of anise and fennel. Overall, the taste is fresh and harmonious.
Food Pairing recommendation: a great friend with seafood and grilled fishes.
