Cotes du Rhone blanc, 2019, Hommage du Rhone
The Côtes du Rhône spread over 4000 hectares. Therefore they are the 1st producing AOP of the regions Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur and Languedoc Roussillon.
The white wines represent 6% of the production. Furthermore, the southern climate is characterized by the wind Mistral. This wine comes from a selection of parcel located on the right and left bank of the Rhône river.
Grape Varieties: Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier
Tasting Notes: At first, This wine has a bright, golden color.
Then, the nose is fruity and floral with citrus notes and white fruits.
Overall, the mouth is round and generous, with a nice freshness.
Pairing Food recommendations: To serve between 9 and 12°C. To be drunk within 2 years.
Perfect wine for an aperitif. It will be a great companion with white meat in wine sauce such as Blanquette de veau or a great friend with goat cheese such as Rigotte de Condrieu. Also pairs well with seafood.
