Château La Fleur Peyrabon 2014, 75cl

The vineyard is  located between Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Mouton-Rothschild since the vintage of 2006.
Then, in 2014, the Cabernet Sauvignon, which naturally marks the vintages, dominates the blend, completed by Merlot and Petit Verdot.
Tasting Notes: At first the nose is dense, expressive and opulent with fleshy dark berries (Burlat cherry, cassis).
Also, it offers a pleasant freshness. Then the attack has character (frank acidity) and the mid-palate is well structured (with elegance) on fleshy (almost creamy) and even silky tannins: the texture is noble.  This wine gains in precision and has a good ageing potential.
Enjoy this Pauillac with a grilled meat such as beef or Lamb. It will be a great companion with a cheese platter.

Wine Advocate-Parker tasting notes:
The 2014 La Fleur Peyrabon has plenty of smudged raspberry coulis and graphite scents on the nose, forward and just needing a little more clarity. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin, simple tobacco-tinged red fruit with an easy-going finish. Drink over the next 4-5 years. Tasted September 2016.
