Monsieur CHATTÉ first Gourmet shop opened in Heng Fa Chuen MTR shopping mall, alongside the first CARREFOUR supermarket to open in Hong Kong. This shop did a solid business until 1999 when Carrefour decided to retreat from Hong Kong. All shop were closed and the mall was redeveloped by MTR.
