Jean-Yves and Marie-Christine CHATTÉ decided the time was right for a new challenge and moved from Bordeaux to Hong Kong with their 3 young children.

Within a few days, they found a home, put the kids at school and registered their first company, Grands Crus de France Ltd. Office was in one of the bedroom and their first business venture was ready to take off.

Jean-Yves spent 70% of his time traveling over the Asian continent, selling French wines. Ten years later he sold his shares in his company and set up a new wholly owned wine business, M.C. Group. Still active today, it is now run by his elder son, Romain.
